Shoreline Chamber Fall Fest

We are excited to be hosting on-going drop-in workshops throughout this highly popular fair! Join us for a 30 - 40 minute mini-dive into the art of Hawai'i-style floral crowns called lei po'o.

Fair Hours:

Sat Oct 14th     10:00am - 7:00pm

Certified educator, conservation biologist and owner of Pua Le'a Floral, Julia will be teaching about the plants, Hawai'ian cultural context and deep nature connection involved with lei-making. This is not your average floral crown!

Workshops are appropriate for all-ages (kids ages 6+) adn beginners! Guests will choose their own flowers and foliage from our signature flower bar to weave a half-size floral crown. All plants are sourced from Connecticut farms or ethically wild-crafted (grasses, berries, leaves) for a very seasonal look! Lei typically last 2-4 days if stored in the fridge in a plastic bag when not worn.
