About the event
Lei po’o are lei for the head - or as they are called in the US - floral crowns. In this hands-on workshop you will learn the technique used in Hawai'i-style lei po'o, Hawai'ian words used in lei-making and how to create a pattern.
Featuring a not-to-be missed local & seasonally sourced flower and plant bar, this unique floral workshop is best for ages 10 and up or young people that enjoying and have the attention span for crafting. Â A full lei po'o crown generally take 1 hour to weave.
All materials are included in ticket price and lei last 3-5 days with light wear, lightly spritzed with water and stored in a plastic bag in the fridge. They can then be laid flat and dried for another round of enjoyment and decoration!
