Join us in learning how to weave a special Hawai'i-style floral crown called lei po'o!

Certified educator, conservation biologist and owner of Puale'a Floral Julia, will be teaching about the plants, Hawai'ian cultural context and deep nature connection involved with lei-making. Kids and teens will be supported as needed in each step so they can feel successful in their finished product.

Workshops are appropriate for all-ages & beginners (kids ages 6 and up) and guests will choose their own flowers and foliage from our flower bar to weave a half-size floral crown. Lei typically last 2-4 days if stored in the fridge in a plastic bag when not worn.

Our flowers are sourced from local CT farms when seasonally available. We lead with aloha creating a warm, welcoming and empowering experience for guests in our drop-workshops and private events.

We recommend you purchase tickets ahead of time but you can also drop-in and pay the day of the fair.
